JWT has created a new multi-media campaign to promote the festival. At the center of the 2014 campaign are two humorous cinema ads that profile two fictitious actors, one a top zombie actor and the other, the top movie extra in the world. Both actors make the point that they now have their choice of jobs anywhere in the world but they choose to work in Canada because of the quality of the films.
